Stand with the Protesters.

I’m sure that all of you have heard about these ongoing peaceful protests over the past week that have been going on in Burma. On Wednesday the military junta used force against the protesters and so far the violence has escalated, leaving many civilians dead or wounded.  They (military) will stop at nothing until we all come together and beat their asses, so please do something to set the nation free, even if its a little something.

Honestly, nobody deserves to live under a bunch of corrupt fucks who have taken everything away from the people.This sort of treatment, simply can not continue any longer.

No more diamonds for me please.

I felt this sudden urge to blog about the movie “blood diamond” that i watched last night.
Before the movie i did know that blood or conflict diamonds did exist but didnt really understand it as much as after i watched the movie. ITS HORRIBLE! Its scary to know that around the world there are kids our age who have to go through so much pain and suffering. And to imagine how much bloodshed there is and how greedy the world can be. Sometimes we forget that there are others who are going through much worse circumstances and we can be selfish in our ways. I mean we often are caught up on some material item while others our age are just trying to live everyday. If you do plan on buying a diamonds, even if i doubt it at this age, make sure they arent conflict diamonds.
Villages are rampaged by the RUF where they take kids to work as soldiers, kill families, take men to work for diamonds, cut off limbs and so on.
The kids who are taken to become soldiers are indoctrinated with false ideas of who is right and who is wrong. Basically, they do drugs and shoot people.
Once youve seen the slave labor and the human atrocities involved in diamonds production, its hard to look at those shiny little things and find them attractive.
